Venue: Craft Burgers & Beer – Clontarf
About: At Craft Burgers & Beer the burgers are handcrafted by Chefs with 100% Locally Sourced Queensland Beef, with Ingredients Sourced Locally. The Craft Beers are brewed by masters.
What I ordered: The Chipotle Burger, it’s a char grilled beef patty with chipotle sauce, crispy bacon, jalapenos, lettuce, roasted peppers, ripe tomatoes and Spanish onion. I asked them to remove the jalapenos, peppers. Mum ordered the Classic Burger.
Service: They served us quickly; the man was really helpful and didn’t try to talk me out of the chipotle burger I guess he figured I knew what I was ordering. The burgers were cooked pretty fast. There is a large choice of soft drinks and some beers for the adults.
Atmosphere: Cool looking café with nice modern décor, inside and outside seating. The night we visited it was raining on and off so we sat inside. Craft Burgers is kid friendly but it’s not a big place so kids couldn’t run around.
The food: My burger looked really good, I was pretty impressed. I opened it and saw tomato on it, I don’t like tomato, I missed that on the menu, so I took it off. First bite……yum! The bacon had no fat on it, so you can eat it without having to pull bits off. I did have to have regular sips of my 7up because the sauce is hot, but it was good!
Overall: I really enjoyed the burger, mum liked hers too. We didn’t have to wait too long for our food, I’d go back again and I would recommend you try Craft Burgers Beer if you want a good tasting, decent sized burger.
