A celebration of colour! Redcliffe KiteFest promises one HUGE weekend of fun, boasting world-class kite displays, live character performances, kids activities, market stalls, amusement rides, aerobatic displays and so much MORE!

Exciting NEWS!! EMMA MEMMA is coming to Redcliffe KiteFest! Everyone will have the chance to Sing, Dance and Sign when she performs on the Sesame Lane Main stage.

Ausbuild Kite Flying Arena

Redcliffe KiteFest is renowned for delivering world-class kite displays and will once again play host to a huge group of international and domestic kite flyers, including the amazing Redcliffe Kite Club in the Kite Flying Arena.

Each day from 9 am-4 pm the sky will fill with kites of all shapes and sizes as the world’s best kite flyers show their stuff.

KiteFest Karnival Zone

Twirl your way through the Redcliffe KiteFest's Karnival zone! The kids (and young at heart) will have an absolute BLAST! Brace yourself for thrilling amusement rides, entertaining Karnival sideshow games, and delightful show bags. Get ready for an unforgettable adventure that will leave everyone, young and young at heart, with a blast!

Sesame Lane Main Stage

This festival is known for bringing incredible live music and entertainment to the City of Moreton Bay, and it all starts at Redcliffe KiteFest main stage. Crowds will be wowed as some of the best young performers in South-East Queensland take to the Stage.

We are so excited to announce that EMMA MEMMA will be the headline act on the Sesame Lane Main Stage!!!!

On September 14th - 15th, Sing, Dance and Sign with 2023 ARIA Award Winner Emma Memma. Empowering the next generation through movement, creativity, inclusiveness and friendship. Emma Memma is ideal for preschool children aged 18 months to 4 years and their parents. Emma Memma breaks language barriers through the use of visual communication for effective storytelling, and the exploration of ideas, emotions and concepts to create an inclusive learning environment for everyone!

KiteFest Kids Zone

KiteFest Kids Zone is paradise on earth…for kids. Filled with a range of free and low-cost activities, KiteFest Kids is bursting with fun, colour, and entertainment specifically for children aged 10 and under.

Exciting times are ahead of us with the return of the Redcliffe KiteFest. The event will be held at Pelican Park, Clontarf over an action packed 2 days from Saturday 14th September to Sunday 15th September. Whilst the Event is on, the Pelican Park Boat Ramp will be closed from 4am Thursday 12 September to 6pm Monday 16 September 2024. Alternate boat ramps include Crockatt Park, Margate Beach, Queens Beach North, Scarborough Marina
