What does your business/job involve?
Pet sitting & dog walking on the Redcliffe Peninsula in sunny QLD. Working with pets, all kinds and natures! My work is actually like a fitness & mental well-being support worker but with pets LOL. But I love it and enjoy learning new things about pets psychology. My best hobby ever was Agility with my two Shelties in past and I recommend this sport to every dog owner – it’s a combination of training, exercise and team game, with your dog. I moonlight at Cafes Over There & Over Here – I might make your coffee next time your in! 🙂 The owners are genuine people & ALWAYS treat their customers & staff well and with respect.
Suburb you live in and why you love it?
We’re renting a beautiful old cottage in Woody Point and love it here! It’s enough peaceful street with lovely neighbours and very close to the ocean.
How do you unwind?
Our favourite active relax is a morning or sunrise walk along the ocean which starts just a few blocks away.
I can’t really just relax doing nothing so reading and TV isn’t my cup of tea. I LOVE nature and so camping, bushwalking and wildlife photography is my way of relaxing, other than being creative in my craft room (my favourite place in Woody Point hehe).
Best coffee haunt in town / best watering hole in town?
I prefer home cooking and an eco & healthy lifestyle so I don’t pass my slowly earned $$ on any ‘makes-coffee-for-profit’ business. (giggle) I’d say for a foodie’s experience it’s Cafe Diversity or for a very special occasion What’s In the Pot – their meals and service are a real treat!
Flock Eatery is my new fav treat stop – a small & cosy green business to support for eco-people like myself. 🙂
Butcher Baker Coffeemaker for a nice cup of coffee or brekky including a pleasant short walk for our free mornings. They are dog-friendly so I can take my furry customers out with us!
