Moreton Bay City Council’s online customer service portal is experiencing technical ‘difficulties’ today with some ‘customer functionality offline’.
A council spokeswoman says its third-party provider is ‘investigating a possible information breach’.
“The cause is still to be determined but there is no indication that this is a cyber attack. Customers do not need to take any action at this stage. Council will continue to keep residents informed,” the spokeswoman says.
“The Office of the Information Commissioner Queensland is being notified as per requirements.”
