Families and individuals who are homeless, in crisis, struggling to put food on the table, or face the possibility of being alone this Christmas, are being encouraged to reach out for help and support during the holidays.

A number of community organisations, neighbourhood centres, charities and churches throughout Moreton Bay will be available to spread some Christmas cheer by providing food hampers, community meals and more to people in need.

Here is a full list of where you can go to for help this Christmas.

The list of services will continue to be updated as more information comes through.

They will then reopen on January 8, 2024.

If you need assistance, phone 5495 6400 and press option 1, or visit the website.

Families can also drop into the centre and receive a free meal on Mondays from 5-6pm, with the last meal for the year being on December 11.

The Monday meal service will then resume on January 15, 2024.

The centre will be closed during the holiday period from December 22 and reopening on January 2, 2024.
