Words by Moreton Daily

A free Emergency Services Expo at Samford in April will bring together a range of emergency and support services from the local community and beyond.

Those showcasing their work include the Queensland Police Service, Queensland Ambulance Service, SES, Queensland Fire and Emergency Services, Australian Red Cross, Life Flight Australia and Scouts Queensland.

Get up close with emergency service personnel, vehicles and equipment and learn about the important work they do to keep us all safe.

Sound the sirens in a police car, learn about what it takes to be a State Emergency Service (SES) volunteer, use the fire hose on a rural fire fighting truck, practice CPR skills with QAS, and so much more!

Learn from your heroes

Meet the incredible men and women who work tirelessly to protect our communities and find out how you can get involved.

There will be plenty of fun and educational activities for all ages, including interactive displays and live demonstrations.

The event will have a full program of demonstrations running from 9am-1pm.

Don't miss out on this exciting day, which promises to be a highlight of the year for anyone interested in emergency services and community safety.

Emergency Services Expo Samford is proudly presented by City of Moreton Bay and supported by strategic sponsors Ausbuild, Australian Trade College North Brisbane, Belgravia Leisure, Crew Legal, University of the Sunshine Coast, Matchsticks Marketing Agency, Pipeline Supplies and Hire, The Sebel Brisbane Margate Beach, Sesame Lane, Village Motors, Bishopp Outdoor Advertising, The Redcliffe Peninsula and Innovate Moreton Bay.
