Hundreds of trucks made the journey from Larapinta to Redcliffe for this year’s Brisbane Convoy for Kids.
The event, on Saturday, November 4, raised money for children’s hospice Hummingbird House and culminated in a family event at Redcliffe Showgrounds.
Honking horns and the rumble of truck motors could be heard for hours as the rigs of all shapes and sizes made their way across the Houghton Highway and through Peninsula streets. See the video below
Drivers, locals and visitors came together at the showgrounds for an afternoon of entertainment, market stalls and food which culminated in a fireworks display.
