Redcliffe Library to close for upgrades

As part of the current upgrade at Redcliffe Library, the facility will temporarily close in early December.

The library will close on Tuesday, December 5 and will reopen on Saturday, December 16.

The $1.725 million upgrade aims to create new internal spaces that will enhance flexibility and make Redcliffe Library more accessible for customers.

The main works will include repurposing the old gallery area into collaborative spaces and quiet zones, creating an open and welcoming ambience in the foyer and adding an Adult Changing Place facility.

There will also be upgraded floor finishes within the Phase One area and an upgrade of all audio, video and ICT equipment.

During the closure, Redcliffe Library will continue all housebound deliveries and will contact customers to advise of alternative pick-up arrangements.

If you would like to visit a library during this time, the closest locations are North Lakes and Deception Bay Library.

Follow Moreton Bay Region Libraries on Facebook or visit the website for updates.
